Sakalya preschool brings a child to the world of knowledge in a fun-filled manner. We kindle a child’s desire to learn and present an environment where a child can enthusiastically climb the steps of knowledge. Sakalya preschool is the outcome of extensive research that explored various curriculums and accumulated their best aspects to present to the kids a unique world of fun and learning.

Our preschool journey started in the year 2017. In the year 2020, our new brand “SAKALYA PRESCHOOL”, was established in the year 2020. At present, we have two branches viz., Sakalya Preschool at Adityanagar, Vidyaranyapura post, Bangalore -97 & another at Abbigere, Chikkabanavara post, Bangalore -90. Both branches operate within the Government guidelines for Early childhood education. Our branches are administered by trusts named, “Knowbletek” & “Sakalya Education Trust” respectively, which is comprised of a management committee with respectable trustees.

Our primary approach is to support your child's learning and development holistically. We aim to work together with you to best meet your child's individual needs.

Good rapport between home and school is very important for the development of each child. The trusted relationship between our teachers and parents is encouraged through open dialogue.

We welcome each parent to visit our premises and get connected with us for experiencing a Safe Home Away from Home for your child.

Our Approach

At Sakalya we use an integrated approach to achieve a holistic development of the child.

Montessori approach is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.
Waldorf is holistic style of education, intended to develop pupils' intellectual, artistic, and practical skills, with a focus on imagination and creativity. Individual teachers have a great deal of autonomy in teaching methods, facilitation and governance.
Reggio Emila approach allows children to communicate through their 'hundred languages' that are valued and nurtured by a well-trained teacher. Reciprocal relationships with the teachers, staff and the parents are expected in an environment encouraging creative expression, communication and relationships, collaboration, discovery and social responsibility.
Multi-sensory (VAKT) approach upholds the individual child's way of learning by Visual(seeing), Auditory(listening) and kinesthetics (muscular movement for external stimuli) and Tactile (Touch). The multisensory approach can enhance memory and the ability to learn. This can also include taste, smell and movement.
Kindergarten is an approach based on playing, singing, practical activities such as drawing, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school. The focus is on the traditional way of teaching and learning.
